Faraway Cowl crochet pattern - Downloadable PDF

The Faraway cowl was inspired by traditional Nordic and Fair Isle knitting patterns, and was desgined to accompany the popular Faraway Hat.
Worked in the round from the bottom up, it uses a relaxing combination of granny stitch and spike stitch.
Made using DK yarn, It can be worked up in an evening or two and is a great stashbuster.

This unisex design comes in 2 sizes, kids and adults - see size chart below. You will soon be whipping up multiple versions for the whole family!

The Faraway cowl is written in UK crochet terms, and is intermediate level. It uses Hayfield Bonus DK and a 4mm hook, although any DK yarn can be used.

DK yarn quantities: (Yarn A = main colour)
Yarn A - Adults: 86g/ 241m Kids 67g/ 188m
Yarn B - Adults: 12g/ 34m Kids 9g/25m
Yarn C - Adults: 16g /45m Kids: 12g/ 34m
Yarn D - Adults: 16g/ 45m Kids 12g/ 34m

Measurements:
Width - Kids 28cm (Adults 35.5cm)
Height - Kids 26cm (Adults 28cm)
